Rachel is a litigation associate in the Global Commercial Disputes group at Reed Smith. She works in a broad variety of practice areas, including multi-plaintiff product liability cases, consumer class actions, managed health care disputes, the technology and mobile data sectors, and public rights. Her experience includes developing overall case strategy, briefing dispositive motions, handling written and electronic discovery, and general case management. Rachel is also involved with various pro bono efforts, including amicus briefing to the US Supreme Court, and has also worked on several immigration and family law matters.
Rachel clerked for the Honorable S. James Otero in the Central District of California during the 2019-2020 judicial term. While clerking, Rachel managed a caseload of both civil and criminal matters.
While in law school, Rachel was a judicial extern in the Central District of California, as well as in the Criminal and National Security division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Rachel served on the boards of the University of Southern California Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Women’s Law Association. She also participated in moot court and finished in second place nationwide at the 2018 New York City Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition.
