Marize is a senior associate in our Global Corporate Group in Dubai with over 17 years’ experience in the UAE, working both in private practice and in-house. Marize has represented clients across a number of sectors, including real estate, finance, construction, transportation, and entertainment and media.
She has advised on commercial matters relating to the intellectual property, data privacy and legal privilege laws of the UAE. Marize has extensive experience with employment related issues in the UAE proper, as well as the DIFC and various other free zones in accordance with the UAE Labour Law, the DIFC Employment Law and other free-zone-specific employment regulations. Additionally, Marize advises on joint venture, agency, distribution and franchising issues, restructurings and other general corporate matters in the UAE.
