Camilla is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on litigating, evaluating, and settling insurance coverage, bad faith, and unfair insurance practice disputes on behalf of policyholders in state and federal courts as well as arbitrating such disputes before the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
Camilla is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved with her family to Florida in 1995. After graduating, she joined Teach for America and taught high school economics and history in Harlem, New York. While working for the New York City Department of Education, Camilla earned a master’s degree in secondary education from Fordham University. While attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Camilla was a member of the Florida Law Review, the Jessup International Moot Court Team and a teaching assistant for legal research, writing, and appellate advocacy.
