Jonathan is a member of Reed Smith’s Global Commercial Disputes group, which specializes in business and corporate disputes, class action and multi-district litigation, litigation strategy and management, managed care, mass and toxic torts, and product liability.
Jonathan concentrates his practice on product liability and toxic tort litigation. He is a member of the Reed Smith team that serves as National Coordinating Counsel for a global energy company’s benzene litigation nationwide. His work in benzene litigation has covered upstream, midstream, downstream, and residential claims involving alleged exposures to aromatics (benzene, gasoline, diesel, among others). His practice has also included serving on the Reed Smith team that acted as National Coordinating Counsel for a Fortune 100 manufacturing and services company’s asbestos litigation nationwide. Jonathan’s practice includes defense of product and premises liability litigation throughout the country at all stages including intake, motion practice, fact and expert discovery, settlement, and trial.
Jonathan’s practice also includes franchising as well as defense of consumer reporting agencies against class-action lawsuits brought under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
