Iveliz R. Crespo (They/She) is Reed Smith's global diversity and inclusion advisor, aiding Reed Smith’s efforts to promote and achieve diversity and inclusion in the legal community.
Iveliz joined Reed Smith after serving as the City of Philadelphia Law Department’s first-ever director of professional development for diversity and inclusion, where they had the unique opportunity to both develop and implement large-scale diversity programming. Iveliz has an extensive background developing and facilitating both subject matter and competency-based diversity and inclusion trainings for a wide range of audiences. They have held adjunct roles at both Villanova Law and Temple Law focusing their curriculum on social justice and diversity and inclusion topics. They have also developed and facilitated trainings for clients, government officials, judges, local-area nonprofits and law firms on trauma-informed legal services, LGBTQ and racial competency, implicit bias, and best practices.
