Tabitha specializes in employee benefit matters and executive compensation. She has experience in the design, implementation, and compliance initiatives of qualified retirement plans, executive compensation arrangements, and other health and welfare arrangements. Tabitha represents clients in the employee benefits and executive compensation aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other types of transactions. She has broad experience with non-qualified plans and executive compensation matters such as deferred compensation arrangements; equity-based plans; bonus plans; and employment, retention, severance, and change-in-control agreements. Tabitha advises clients on the tax implications of such arrangements under the Internal Revenue Code, including sections 409A and 280G. She also counsels clients on compliance with ERISA, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, and COBRA.
