Her focus has been guiding clients during project execution on claims issues, and subsequently advising on and representing clients in international construction disputes (particularly international arbitration). Elinor has advised both owners and contractors in connection with disputes on international energy, infrastructure and construction projects around the world, including in Sri Lanka, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. She has been a lead, managing associate on a number of significant projects and project disputes. Most recently, she advised on the procurement strategy and substantial claims on a series of major highway projects in Sri Lanka, as well as a substantial arbitration arising out of a metro railway project in Taiwan.
Elinor is recognised as a Rising Star by the London Super Lawyers List for Construction and Civil Engineering.
