Sam focuses his practice on the intersection of technology, privacy and data security. Sam has over twenty years of experience advising clients as both in-house and outside counsel. Sam has provided legal advice regarding legal risk management and mitigation, corporate compliance, transactions, and critical incident response to large and small clients across a wide range of industries. Sam has particular experience in broadband and telecommunications law, but is also well-versed in a broad range of federal and state privacy and data security laws and regulations applicable to his other clients. He routinely advises clients on compliance with domestic and global data protection regulations, with a specific focus on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
