Adam works with clients to identify efficiency and transformational gains as part of the client listening programme, and is responsible for administering the firm’s internal innovation programme which harnesses the ideas and creativity of the firm’s community. He is also heavily involved in advising on the skills of future legal teams, focusing on legal technology, project management, service design, collaboration, creativity, and design thinking skills.
Adam works with the practice innovation and knowledge management teams to help understand client and internal pain points and then design and develop innovative solutions, taking a people-process-technology approach.
Adam is a capital markets solicitor by training, and practiced at White & Case in London before moving to teaching business law at BPP University Law School. He later progressed into an innovation role at BPP, working with law firms to develop legal technology and innovation training, and implementing internal and external legal and educational technology solutions. He joined Reed Smith in 2019 as innovation engagement manager.
He is a regular speaker at legal technology and knowledge conferences, and is an active member of Lawtech UK's education and training taskforce and the O Shaped Lawyer group.
