Natalia works with commodities trading, mining and energy companies. She has broad experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the commodities and energy industries. On the non-contentious side, she has experience in a range of commercial work, including advising on the set up of a downstream start-up venture for an energy and commodities trading client. On the contentious side, she has experience acting for clients in the English High Court, as well as in various GAFTA, FOSFA and LCIA arbitrations.
Natalia also has experience assisting with EU food safety regulation matters (including advising on safety requirements for placement on the EU market of various foods, additives’ regulation, and food labelling requirements), EU/UK product safety regulatory matters for various products (including in particular, PPE, medical devices, toys, baby products and various other products), as well as certain EU environmental matters.
Natalia is also active in Reed Smith’s pro bono initiatives, and co-leads the firm’s work with the National Centre for Domestic Violence, providing urgent injunctive relief to victims of domestic violence, and also co-leads the firm’s work with, and attends various legal advice sessions with University House’s Family Law and Domestic Violence Clinic.
