Sean joined Reed Smith in 2010 and is a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Sean represents property owners in several aspects of real estate law, including property identification, financing and acquisition, commercial and residential land development, local and state permitting and licensing, land use, stormwater and wastewater permitting, retail and commercial leasing, tax assessment litigation and property disposition. He also represents lenders in financing, refinancing and workout matters. In addition, Sean has experience representing clients in connection with business financing, capitalization and management, which provides clients with the benefit of a perspective that considers the broader needs of the client, as well as the impact of a particular real estate matter on those needs.
