Sandy is a partner in our Global Corporate Group, based in New York and working on transactions across the United States and internationally. He regularly represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic business relationships, and financings.
In addition to his transactional matters, Sandy is a trusted advisor to company directors and senior management. In that role, he is able to bring to clients the extensive resources of Reed Smith in multiple practice areas across its fully integrated global platform.

In addition to his work across the United States, Sandy has extensive experience outside the United States, including multiple transactions involving Canada (particularly Québec), Europe (particularly France, the UK and the Nordic countries), and South America. His industry experience is broad including renewable energy (onshore and offshore wind, solar, and biomass), paper and packaging and other manufacturing, and heavy construction and infrastructure.
Sandy has significant experience with asset acquisitions of distressed companies in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, having regularly closed many such transactions starting in the earliest days of his career.
