As a senior paralegal, Cindy has 35 years of experience in the real estate legal profession assisting lawyers in the representation of real estate investment trusts (REITs), developers, and investors. Her experience includes construction, commercial, and industrial acquisitions and dispositions, mezzanine and commercial mortgage transactions, commercial lease transactions, sale-leasebacks, and multi-use development projects in multiple jurisdictions nationwide. She is proficient in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, which includes drafting conveyance and loan documents and analyzing due diligence materials such as title commitments and underlying exception documents, surveys, zoning reports, and land use materials. She also analyzes contracts, leases, lien searches, and the retrieval of public records . Cindy interacts regularly with title companies negotiating title insurance coverage, and with surveyors, zoning companies, various vendors, and clients to facilitate closings. In addition, Cindy prepares entity formation and dissolution documents and related housekeeping, governance, and operating documents, and also prepares corporate resolutions and authority documents.
