TJ is a dedicated commercial litigator with a passion for making a positive impact in both the legal field and the community. His practice focuses on managed care litigation, where he handles a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal courts. His experience encompasses breach of contract, bad faith, payor/provider disputes, False Claims Act (FCA) cases, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) claims, and Federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) claims.
Beyond his legal practice, TJ is deeply committed to community service. He is a co-founder and board member of the Impact Project, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing mentorship, guidance, and exposure to children in inner-city communities. He is on a mission to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline by assisting in expunging juvenile records, offering a fresh start to young individuals who deserve a second chance. Through this initiative, TJ is actively involved in nurturing the next generation and helping them achieve their full potential.
TJ's dedication to service extends into his leadership roles within legal organizations. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Associate Board for the Black Men Lawyers’ Association and as a Program Director on the board of directors for the American Constitution Society, contributing to the development of critical legal programs and initiatives.
