Chalyn is an associate in the Labor & Employment group in the Pittsburgh office. Chalyn’s practice focuses on employment litigation and counseling.
In regard to her litigation practice, Chalyn defends employers in a variety of employment-related matters under federal and state law, including Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and Pennsylvania law. In addition to employment-related claims, Chalyn has litigated breach of commercial contract and unfair competition claims. Chalyn is experienced in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial, appeal, and settlement.
In regard to her counseling practice, Chalyn advises clients on a variety of legal issues related to employment law. Specifically, Chalyn has significant experience in counseling employers on the prevention of sexual harassment claims in the “Me Too” era. In the event that a claim is brought forward by an employee, Chalyn has conducted numerous sexual harassment and assault investigations that thoroughly address the claims with tact and the utmost care.
