China joined Reed Smith in 2014 and is a member of the Business and Finance Group, focusing on corporate transactional matters. Her current responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide variety of agreements including, confidentiality, clinical trials, laboratory services, material use and licensure, collaborative and sponsored research, and advisory and data safety boards. China also handles various other consulting, speaker, vendor and business agreements.
Her responsibilities at Reed Smith have included performing due diligence reviews in preparation for a sale or merger, preparing commercial loan closing documents, providing detailed data analysis, conducting audits, investigative reviews and analyzing electronically generated discovery materials for complex issues and confidentiality using specialized software. China has also been tasked with identifying sensitive and privileged subject matter and performing redactions, quality control review of document production and assisting with deposition preparation.
China regularly volunteers with the TLDEF Name Change Project and other Reed Smith pro bono efforts for its indigent clients.
