John is a senior paralegal in the Financial Industry Group, focusing in the area of Commercial Restructuring & Bankruptcy. John is experienced in all aspects of commercial restructuring and the corporate bankruptcy process, including but not limited to, the drafting of motions, fee applications and other procedural papers, Chapter 11 debtor case management, cite-checking briefs and other legal papers, preparing discovery documents, preparing for hearings, and e-filing in numerous federal bankruptcy courts across the United States.
In addition, John also assists the Global Commercial Disputes Group in Reed Smith’s Wilmington office. He is experienced in all aspects of federal and state court litigation, including but not limited to, analyzing documents for production, analyzing and interpreting court rules, preparing for trial and hearings, and trial attendance. John is also skilled in the discovery process, as well as, the drafting of pleadings, discovery and other court papers.
Prior to his employment with Reed Smith, John was a litigation paralegal in Washington, D.C., focusing on medical malpractice, patent, environmental insurance coverage and construction matters.
