Curtis is an associate in the IP, Information & Innovation Group and is a member of the Information Technology, Privacy & Data Security team.
Curtis recently joined the firm as an associate having served as Legal Counsel to the Financial Ombudsman Service for a number of years. As a result, he has acquired extensive in-house experience and has developed a broad knowledge of data protection and privacy law.
Curtis has advised on data protection in a range of matters, including responding to data breaches, subject access requests, freedom of information requests, and requests for disclosure from third parties. Curtis has also gained experience in developing and drafting privacy and cookies policies, consent declarations and data transfer agreements.
Curtis has also developed a significant amount of litigation experience, including responding to appeals to the Information Rights Tribunal.
