Olga is an associate in Reed Smith's Energy and Natural Resources Group.
Olga’s experience encompasses a broad variety of contentious and transactional matters in the commodities sector and in relation to environmental matters. On the litigious side, Olga has been assisting international clients in GAFTA and FOSFA arbitration proceedings, including provision of pre-action assessment and advice. Non-contentious work that Olga undertakes includes reviewing/drafting of GT&Cs and contracts for sale and purchase relating to various commodities. Olga also advises in relation to different regulatory frameworks (REMIT, MiFID) and assists clients with production of internal compliance guidelines/documents. In addition, Olga works on a variety of transactional, advisory and contentious environmental matters, most recently in relation to aspects of UK and EU waste law relating to the storage and disposal of electrical and electronic waste, definition of waste issues, EU ETS issues and a major project relating to the supply and processing of industrial by-products.
