Panagiota is a senior associate in the corporate team of Athens Reed Smith office. Panagiota is qualified as a member of the Athens Bar Association and admitted before the Supreme Court. She has extensive experience in advising leading corporations, with international presence, on a broad range of corporate, commercial, commercial litigation and regulatory matters, working closely with lawyers from Reed Smith's international network.
In 2010, she was appointed as a full time secondee legal counsel for two years with companies in the Life Sciences sector. This was a front line position where she worked closely with the company’s management on a broad range of legal matters. Throughout her secondment she gained in depth knowledge of the medical devices, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industries assisting her clients on various matters, including the conduct of clinical trials, drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts (supply, logistics, distribution, and agents), guiding on regulatory matters and advising on health care compliance.
In addition to providing legal advice, Panagiota is appointed as the Athens office's representative for Reed Smith Women's international committee called WINRS.
She is also appointed as the pro bono associate coordinating the pro bono work of Athens Reed Smith office to NGOs.
