Ada is an associate in the Tax, Benefits & Wealth Planning Group and focuses her practice on employee benefits and executive compensation matters.  She has experience advising clients on plan design, drafting plan documents and participant communications, correcting operational errors, ERISA fiduciary standards, the selection of plan service providers and the investment of plan assets, and day-to-day benefits plan administration. Ada also has experience representing plan sponsors, trustees, and corporate officers, among others, in ERISA litigation related to employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) overvaluation claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, stock drop claims, and church plan exemption challenges.  She has drafted dispositive motions and memoranda briefs; responded to subpoenas, requests for document production and electronically stored information (ESI); prepared fact and expert witnesses for depositions and trials; and defended clients in trial.  Additionally, she has counseled employers and plan sponsors through Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audits and investigations.
