Lavinia Osilesi zealously advocates for her clients. Lavinia has experience arguing on her cients behalf in court, conducting in-depth legal research, forming tailored litigation strategy, drafting persuasive briefs, and preparing discovery.
She also assists in pro bono matters, including guardianship, immigration, and Federal Tort Claims Act claims.
Lavinia volunteers with the Legal Education Access Pipeline (“LEAP”) which is dedicated to diversifying the legal profession by preparing historically excluded students to become successful law school applicants, lawyers, and agents of social change. She also volunteers at a Small Claims clinic to provide key information to individuals seeking reprieve through the courts. Further, Lavinia mentors law students at her alma mater, and advocates for others through her positions on Reed Smith’s Diversity Committee and Community Service Committee. In March 2023, Lavinia was honored with the Young Alumni Award at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law’s Third Annual Belonging Awards.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Lavinia was an extern to the Honorable John A. Kronstadt on the United States District Court for the Central District of California. While in law school, Lavinia served as an editor for the Pepperdine Law Review.
