Gismonde Palmont has been a senior paralegal in corporate law at Reed Smith since October 2018, where she works in the firm’s tax group and sometimes with its corporate practice, particularly on restructuring transactions. She supports French and international groups with the day-to-day and exceptional management of their entities, and she has a particularly strong background serving in the real estate, hospitality, pharmaceutical, and services sectors. With more than 30 years of professional experience in the legal management of company portfolios, she handles the full range of secretarial matters (approval of annual accounts, share capital transactions, changes in governance, incorporation of all types of French companies, carrying out the legal formalities, and monitoring of related-party agreements) for our tax lawyers’ clients and oversees the drafting and coordination of corporate documentation in French and English. She is also involved in complex transactions – including restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings, dissolutions and liquidations – supporting the firm’s lawyers and in-house legal teams.
