As both a national and international Client Counseling Competition champion, Benjamin understands the importance of listening to his clients to truly understand both their underlying legal issues and goals. He brings this skill to his practice in the firm’s complex litigation group, where he focuses on managed care and commercial litigation. Prior to attending law school, Benjamin lived in Washington, D.C., where he worked for then-Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth. There, Benjamin gained valuable policy experience that helped inform his legal practice. Since joining the firm, Benjamin continues to exercise his passion for civic engagement, taking on pro bono matters on issues related to election law, immigration and asylum, and landlord-tenant disputes.
