Matt also has significant experience in the commercial arbitration arena, having tried multiple arbitrations through final arbitration awards and confirmation proceedings.
Matt has handled all aspects of litigation. He has taken and defended numerous depositions of both fact and expert witnesses, has written successful summary judgment motions, has briefed and argued hundreds of discovery and law and motion matters, and has examined witnesses in arbitration proceedings. He has also brought numerous cases to favorable resolution through mediation and other pre-trial settlement processes.
The majority of cases Matt handles not only involve complex legal issues, but also require deep knowledge of his clients’ business practices and objectives. Matt works closely with clients to understand those objectives and to develop litigation strategies that are both cost-effective and aggressive. This approach has earned Matt the reputation of a zealous advocate who can balance the demands of complex litigation with the practical realities of his clients’ day-to-day business.
