An accomplished trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor, James defends individuals and institutions targeted in white collar criminal matters, government investigations, and related complex litigation. James also conducts internal investigations, counsels corporations and corporate committees in responding to formal and informal government inquiries, and represents clients in matters involving the False Claims Act, FCPA, and other claims of fraud and abuse. His practice focuses on protecting and defending clients in criminal cases in federal and state courts across the country.
