Zachary is an associate in the Life Sciences Health Industry Group, practicing in the area of health care regulatory law. He is experienced in representing a variety of health industry clients, including general acute care and specialty hospitals, pharmacies and other providers, in an array of regulatory and transactional matters. He routinely advises clients on matters concerning third-party reimbursement, state and federal fraud and abuse laws (e.g., the Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act), and regulatory issues, such as the corporate practice of medicine, facility and physician licensure, graduate medical education rules, and health information privacy. Zachary has experience structuring and drafting contractual arrangements involving physicians, such as professional services and independent contractor agreements. Zachary’s practice also encompasses government and internal investigations within the health care sector.
