Tim is an attorney in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Since he joined the firm in 2015, Tim has defended national financial institutions in all phases of litigation in cases pending in various jurisdictions nationwide. Tim's particular expertise is the defense of creditors against claims raised under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Tim is also well-versed in defending his clients against claims for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and state equivalents. Tim exhibits a hands-on approach and works with his clients to achieve early and cost-effective resolution where possible and the best defense in all other cases. Tim also has considerable experience in alternative dispute resolution, particularly JAMS and AAA arbitrations. Through his practice, Tim has learned that, often times, the best way to avoid costly litigation is the maintenance of sound internal policies. To that end, Tim regularly assists his clients in the development and implementation of policy where needed.
