Britt joined the San Francisco office of Reed Smith in 2014. She is an associate within the Financial Industry Group and provides firmwide support to the Business & Finance Department and Litigation Department. Britt is an accomplished, seasoned attorney with comprehensive experience in diverse areas of litigation, including extensive motion practice; in court oral advocacy; discovery disputes; depositions; and complex mediations.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Britt practiced criminal defense at a boutique law firm in Hayward, CA. While working there, she routinely appeared in court, prepared and argued motions, and advocated for her clients constitutional rights.
Britt graduated cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA. During law school, she focused her studies on International Law and Business Transactions. She has studied abroad in Hangzhou, China and Paris, France. Before law school, Britt attended undergraduate school at The University of California, Santa Barbara and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.
Additionally, Britt is a lead associate within Reed Smith’s Women’s Initiative Program, WinRS; she coaches Mock Trial for the firm’s sponsored Mock Trial team; is conversationally fluent in French; and enjoys sailing on the Bay with her friends and family.
