Adriana has experience with health care regulatory matters involving HIPAA privacy and security compliance, licensure issues, and Medicare/Medicaid billing. Adriana also has experience defending life sciences manufacturing clients in product liability litigation matters, including trial preparation and using her science background to analyze medical literature and medical records.
Additionally, Adriana is passionate about her engagement in the firm’s pro bono program. She is currently assisting a trial team in protecting the Due Process rights of journalists, as well as representing a client who is in the criminal justice system. She also recently resolved a guardianship case for a client referred to her by the Philadelphia Legal Clinic for the Disabled.
Prior to studying law, Adriana worked as a Health Care Coach for the Duke University Hospital’s Integrated Pediatric Health department and became highly involved in mentoring teenagers and young adults living with chronic illnesses.
