Shervin is a partner in Reed Smith's private funds formation group, based in the London office. He has particular experience advising fund managers on all aspects of the establishment, structuring and operation of a wide range of private investment funds, including in the private equity, private credit, infrastructure, growth capital and venture capital asset classes. In addition, Shervin advises fund managers on their internal matters, including management vehicle set-up and structuring and carried interest arrangements, as well as their co-investment activities.
Shervin has extensive experience advising institutional investors making investments into, and co-investments alongside, private investment funds. He also advises investors on bespoke arrangements, including separate managed accounts. Shervin has a particular understanding of investors’ requirements, having completed secondments with several institutional investors, including the Universities Superannuation Scheme in London and the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg.
