Devoting her practice to the representation of managed care organizations, Meredith both counsels clients on compliance best practices and vigorously defends their rights in state and federal courts and tribunals across the United States.
Meredith has extensive experience defending clients in member disputes involving ERISA, bad faith, and behavioral health claims, including claims under the Affordable Care Act and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act.
Meredith also regularly assists clients in responding to regulatory investigations by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Employee Benefits Security Administration, as well as state insurance departments’ market conduct examinations.
Meredith also has experience with provider-side disputes involving breach of contract, fraudulent billing, and prompt payment laws.
With significant experience in arbitration proceedings, Meredith has litigated hundreds of cases before the American Arbitration Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
In addition to her managed care practice, Meredith has experience handling a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including white collar defense, creditors’ rights, and labor and employment matters.
