Abe is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office who concentrates his practice on complex commercial and class action matters. In particular, Abe has substantial experience defending clients in high-stakes class actions in the managed care and financial services industries, including those that are national in scope and involve related government enforcement concerns. Often, these matters arise out of expansive and reticulated federal statutory and regulatory schemes, such as the Affordable Care Act, the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, ERISA, and civil RICO. Abe is also well-versed in defending clients in sophisticated individual actions, such as those alleging negligence, fraud, tortious interference, breach of contract or fiduciary duty, and purported violations of deceptive business practices statutes.
