Janet's practice is concentrated in the area of litigation, most recently in the litigation of intellectual property matters. Janet’s litigation experience includes significant work in the fields of construction, products liability, fraud, RICO, insurance, intellectual property and appellate matters. She is knowledgeable in federal and state court proceedings and rules, and has drafted answers, new matters, cross-claims, discovery and motions. Janet is proficient in the areas of document review, organization and the development of document databases; assistance at federal and state court trials and hearings, preparation of exhibits, pre-trial orders and scheduling of witnesses; and preparation of Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law, motions and briefs. She has assisted in the preparation and filing of briefs for the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Janet has attended seminars on the subjects of Shareholder Agreements, Evidence and Trial Preparation, Products Liability, Discovery Procedures and Legal Research and is trained on Lexis and Westlaw. She has coordinated an in-house paralegal education program and the firm's paralegal retreat.
