Adam is a commercial dispute resolution lawyer with a particular focus on all aspects of shipping, multimodal logistics and international trade. He frequently represents shipping and international trade clients, including traders, shipowners, charterers and their insurers, in arbitration and before the English courts.
Adam has completed a number of secondments including to a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs, where he assisted shipowners in a range of P&I and FD&D matters. Adam was also seconded to Maersk A/S in Copenhagen where he worked on a diverse range of issues including dry-dockings, ship modifications, terminal services, vessel sharing and cross-slot charterparty arrangements, and carriage and storage of pharmaceutical cargoes.
Before qualifying as a lawyer, he worked for a maritime security company providing anti-piracy support to ships off the east and west coasts of Africa.
