Evan is an associate in the Financial Industry Group. Evan counsels clients on federal and state laws and regulations affecting banks and other financial institutions. His practice focuses on a wide range of financial regulatory issues, including consumer financing and credit, the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Dodd-Frank Act and Volcker Rule, electronic and mobile payment systems, money transmission, virtual currencies and blockchain technology, bank-owned life insurance, fair lending, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, unfair and deceptive acts or practices (UDAP) statutes, anti-money laundering laws and policies, data privacy, American branches of international banks, and federal and state licensing and registration requirements.
