Daniel is a member of the Financial Services Advisory Group which sits within the Financial Industry Group.
Daniel has advised financial services firms, including banks, assets managers and brokers, on a wide range of regulatory issues, focusing on both the wholesale and retail sectors. Typical work includes advising on consumer credit, payment services, e-money, outsourcing, systems and controls, global custody, conduct of business, capital requirements, market abuse, EU directives, promotion and distribution of investments and money laundering. He has also advised on the regulatory aspects of transactions within the financial services sector.
Daniel has spent time on secondment to the Bank of England Legal Unit, where he advised in relation to the quantitative easing programme, as well as the Discount Window Facility.
