Her practice focuses on initial public offerings, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, compliance and regulatory investigations for listed companies in Hong Kong and corporate governance and general commercial work for private and publicly listed companies in a wide variety of industries.
She advised:
- a listed long-term client on the proposed spin-off of its subsidiary for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange;
- a listed long-term client on successfully securing the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s approval for resumption of trading of its shares after over three years’ trading suspension;
- a listed long-term client, which is a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Composite Index, on numerous cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures and equity issues; and
- a listed company on a hostile unsolicited securities exchange partial offer and option offer to acquire a majority of its issued share capital and outstanding options under the Hong Kong Takeovers Code, the consideration of which were to be settled by way of exchanging shares in another listed company held by the offeror and the aggregate value of the shares being the subject of the offer was approximately HK$1.2 billion.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese. She is also fluent in Hakka and speaks some French.
