PITTSBURGH, PA – For the sixth consecutive year, Reed Smith has received a perfect score of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
In the 2019 CEI report, 571 major businesses — spanning nearly every industry and geography — earned a top score of 100 and the distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”
The 2019 CEI report evaluates businesses based on LGBTQ-related policies and practices across several metrics including workforce protections, inclusive benefits, and supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
