The award was given for the outstanding efforts of our disability Business Inclusion Group, LEADRS.

The judges acknowledged the group for enhancing collaboration between the firm’s Responsible Business and Graduate Recruitment/HR teams, helping us create strategies to attract candidates with disabilities and provide appropriate support once they join the firm.

The group has extended the firm’s outreach programme, raising our profile and building relationships with broader disability networks and organisations while also hosting numerous events for lawyers and students with disabilities to provide insight into our recruitment process and confidence building training.

Due to the group’s efforts we have altered our graduate recruitment process so it does not inadvertently disadvantage candidates with disabilities.

Inspired by the 2012 London Olympics, LEADRS has grown from just a handful of members in the UK and US to a membership of over 100 personnel globally.

The group is co-chaired by partners Carolyn Pepper and Jonathan Radcliffe.

Radcliffe said “We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our LEADRS group. Everyone is committed to driving meaningful change and enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. The award is testament to the group’s hard work and dedication.”
