Jim is an associate in the firm’s IP, Tech & Data group in the New York office. Jim focuses his practice on data privacy, cybersecurity, information governance, and emerging technologies (including FinTech, and with particular focus on data licensing). Jim has advised clients on complying with U.S. biometric privacy laws and regulations, and has researched and written on the growing trend of biometric privacy regulation. Jim has additional experience advising on digital advertising, social media, and regulatory and data-related issues in the growing U.S. sports betting industry. Jim is a member of the firm’s Blockchain Initiative where he researches the application and legal issues of distributed ledger technology.
