Jun Wei is an associate in the Asset Finance team of Reed Smith’s Transportation Industry Group. His focus is on aviation leasing and finance and his practice covers all aspects of cross-border acquisition, leasing, financing and asset-backed securitizations of aircraft and engines.
Jun Wei has experience in negotiating finance-related loan, security and transaction documentation and has overseen and completed transactions for international borrowers and lenders, where he acted as lead or sole associate. The transactions that Jun Wei has handled are mostly cross-border and he has exposure to jurisdictions such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, the PRC, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, the BVI, the Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands.
Jun Wei is qualified in Singapore. Prior to joining Reed Smith, he practiced as a banking and finance lawyer in a Global 50 law firm.
