Tina is a member of the Life Sciences Health Industry Group, practicing in the area of product liability litigation on behalf of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Her focus is on complex product liability mass tort, multi-district litigation, remands, and direct-file cases in state and federal courts. Tina has helped defend numerous client products, including proton pump inhibitors; H2 blockers; textured breast implants; transvaginal, implanted, and transdermal hormonal contraceptives; diet drugs; female hormone replacement therapy; transvaginal surgical mesh; and male hormone replacement therapy.
Tina’s experience in the discovery process includes fact analysis; case development; physical evidence such as pathology; vetting and development of medical, scientific, and regulatory experts; expert reports; preparation for and attendance at expert depositions; as well as contributing to our motions practice teams. She has extensive experience identifying, analyzing, and summarizing medical and scientific literature that can be relied on, either generally or case-specifically, to establish alternate causation and support or refute the facts or claims of the matter.
Tina has been instrumental in developing and implementing case-management systems and document databases. She is involved with budgets and cost management of matters, oversees paraprofessional teams, and mentors within the firm. She maintains collaborative relationships with her colleagues within the firm and at national counsel, co-counsel, and local counsel firms throughout the United States and Canada.
