Maxwell is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office and a member of the Global Commercial Disputes group. As a member of that group, Maxwell drives results for clients in a wide variety of technology focused commercial disputes. His areas of focus include complex data privacy litigation in both state and federal court, particularly under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Maxwell also has experience litigating patent and trademark disputes, advising blockchain and cryptocurrency firms regarding obligations under US securities laws, and counseling clients on data transfers under the Clarifying Lawful Overseas Use of Data Act or CLOUD Act.
