Neil is a proven litigator in Reed Smith’s Global Commercial Disputes Group, representing some of the world’s largest companies in a wide range of complex civil litigation and regulatory matters. Neil leads his clients to advantageous resolutions of matters involving business and mass torts, contract disputes, pharmaceutical product liability, unfair trade practices, and consumer protection.
Neil has been a key member of several trial teams representing a wholesale drug distributor in high-stakes opioid-related cases brought by State Attorneys General. He has significant experience in all aspects of litigation, including developing and implementing strategy, conducting fact and expert discovery, taking and defending fact, corporate designee, and expert depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive motions and discovery disputes, trial preparation, and trial.
Neil is unique in his abilities to understand the challenges his clients face, connect and partner with their business members, and present practical solutions grounded in sound legal assessment. Neil honed these skills during a five-month secondment with the legal department of a Fortune 20 pharmaceutical company.
