Lois focuses her practice on health care fraud and abuse (e.g., Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act), FDA regulatory matters, and health privacy. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Lois worked as a Fellow in Pharmaceutical Law and Policy at a major teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School. She also has in-house experience advising a start-up telehealth company on health privacy compliance, clinical trial regulations, cross-border telemedicine, and due diligence review. She has negotiated licensing agreements with hospitals, physician groups, and foreign governments.
