Partners A. Scott Bolden, Peter Ellis, and Tyree Jones have been named to Savoy Magazine's 2018 list of Most Influential Black Lawyers. The prestigious list, which showcases men and women from leading law firms and corporate counsel from Fortune 1000 companies, comprises what the magazine calls "an influential cross section of legal professionals representing a diverse range of expertise with national and global responsibilities." They are also recognized for their professionalism, protection of rights, and community service.
Bolden, managing partner of the firm's Washington, D.C., office, is a prominent trial and white-collar defense lawyer to whom companies and individuals turn for representation in their most significant concerns. Ellis, of Chicago, is chair of Reed Smith's Complex Litigation Group and a member of the firm's Global Executive Committee. Jones, based in Washington, D.C., is a leading litigation partner in Reed Smith’s global Financial Industry Group, defending some of the nation’s largest banks and other financial services institutions in complex class action and individual litigation. He also previously served for many years as Reed Smith's Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion.
