Reed Smith partner Roberta Torian has been appointed to the board of directors of the African American Museum in Philadelphia, the city's foremost African American cultural institution.

Torian, a partner in the Financial Industry Group, focuses her practice on banking law and consumer compliance. Founded in 1976, the AAMP is the first institution funded and built by a major municipality to preserve and interpret the heritage of African Americans, with exhibits ranging from pre-colonial times to the present.
