Jemma’s practice is focused on complex commercial dispute resolution, particularly for clients in the energy and natural resources sector. She is currently based in Singapore but brings a unique global perspective to her clients following extensive periods practicing in Asia, Europe, the United States and Australia.
Jemma specialises in advising companies that trade, finance and transport commodities. She is particularly well known for her ability to recognise, understand and respond to the cross border strategic and legal issues faced by the commodities industry due in part to the experience gained during her time as in-house counsel for Cargill (in Geneva, Switzerland) and her secondment to a leading commodity trading company (in Singapore).
