With a deep understanding of the cyber threats and risks facing organizations today, Eric provides clients with practical solutions to complex challenges, leveraging his experience as a cybersecurity consultant in his current practice advising on the intersection of law, data and technology.
Counselling clients on a wide range of cybersecurity-related issues, Eric’s experience includes conducting and delivering posture assessments in accordance with established frameworks and standards; spearheading expert witness reports, declarations and rebuttals to support litigation efforts; coordinating and managing remediation and enhancement efforts, including technical solutions and the development of policies, procedures and plans; and responding to and investigating security incidents.
Eric also recognizes the ever-changing nature of cybersecurity requirements in government contracts, and has assisted clients in navigating compliance issues involved in the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Designated as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, Eric also helps clients understand their obligations under various regulations relating to data privacy.
